Carhan House - Birthplace of Daniel O' Connell. O' Connell Memorial Church - Situated in the centre of the town dedicated to Daniel O' Connell. The Abbey of The Holy Cross - Final resting place of Daniel O' Connell Ballycarbery Castle - 15th Century tower House.  Leacanabuile Stone Fort; Cahergal Stone Fort - Impressive examples of dry stone masonry, circa 800/900 AD The Barracks (Cahersiveen Heritage Centre) - Once an old RIC Barracks, burnt down in 1922 now restored to its former glory, as part of a Community project.
